An exciting opportunity has arisen for a coordinator to join our Product Merchandising Department. Reporting to the Product Merchandising Manager, the coordinator will provide vital administrative and creative support to the team. Key responsibilities will include assisting with the opening of our new & refit stores and launching new inspirational product displays in our stores. This is a diverse role which includes creative, practical and administrative tasks. As a collaborative team worker, you’ll be working closely with colleagues across the business and 3rd party companies. With this in mind, we’ll expect you to be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm to influence and drive results. Key Accountabilities Displays of Excellence Management Development and implementation of inspirational displays Attend new product development meetings to support the launch of new product ranges Maintain accurate new product and discontinuation documents to manage the introduction of new displays Manage the Price Ticket System. Maintain all Display of Excellence documents, guidelines, planograms and images on internal systems Working alongside our Buyers, identify ranges to be updated or removed from the business to offer to customers New Stores/Refits/Closures Manage the launch of new, refit & closure stores. Raise product and display unit orders for new stores and supply detailed information to the project team Manage the schedule for the new, refit & closure store programs Attend conference calls Provide support throughout the project, prioritising tasks and dealing with queries in an efficient manner Complete store visits Merchandising duties to include Maintain the stock holding of Goods Not For Resale items in the Grove Park Warehouse Provide support and advice to stores & internal departments Prepare and co-ordinate internal communications to stores Manage Product Merchandising Mail on a daily basis, answering queries within 24 hours Maintain and update the internal web based information for stores Maintenance of product lab and equipment End to end process of creating new tile displays – designing to tiling Ensure that all policies, procedures, documentation and files are accessible and up to date Own and organise the presentation of products in our business meetings Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required: Essential skills Practical and creative skills to be able to create new displays Self-motivated and able to work using own initiative with minimum supervision Strong project management skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work with and manage 3rd party companies Good time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines Strong commercial, numerical, analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills Enthusiastic and hardworking, ability to organise and prioritise own workload Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills to intermediate level Desirable skills Worked in a similar role for 2 years Degree in related field This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/75044801
