Account Handler – Personal & Commercial Lines Sherwin Insurance Services Ltd is currently recruiting for an Account Handler based at our office in Derby city centre, working Monday to Friday, full time. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a long-standing, respected insurance broker. The Account Handler duties include arranging personal and commercial lines insurance policies for customers, renewals, midterm adjustments, up and cross selling new business together with the settlement of insurer accounts. The role provides a quality service to our valued customers through advising, arranging and securing appropriate cover at a competitive premium. To apply for the role you must have: Experience in personal lines including motor and household insurance is essential Experience in commercial lines, especially commercial motor is desirable but not essential Previous Account Handling experience Be confident at dealing with insurance customers face to face and over the telephone Have the ability to sell insurance products Proficient in Microsoft Office packages Professional attitude Acturis experience (desirable but not essential) In return the Company provides a competitive salary, pension, and an excellent opportunity to work for a local and progressive Company.
