This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to join a growing company in the sporting industry as a Corporate Sales Manager. Office based in the East Midlands, you will be responsible for leading, developing and building a Corporate Sales Team of 4, who will work with large national clients in order to drive growth within the business. Description As the Corporate Sales Manager you will become an integral part of the business, where you will be required to lead, develop and manage a sales team of four, alongside growing and developing business with clients in the corporate events and hospitality sector. The role will be a mixture of telesales, meetings and networking with clients on a face to face basis with your team. The business requires an individual who is ambitious, preferably with people management experience, a consultative and educational approach and ideally experience of working in the corporate hospitality and events sector. Responsibilities of the Corporate Sales Manager will include but are not limited to: Managing a team of four sales executives Collaborating with the Head of Sales in setting realistic targets and goals for the corporate sales team Managing a portfolio of products and services to maximise revenue Leading and managing programmes and incentives to coach, train, develop, motivate and lead the sales team Leading any sales activities on major/national client accounts Growing the corporate client portfolio by proactively seeking new opportunities and nurturing existing business Forecasting for annual, quarterly and monthly revenue Managing ongoing assessments of the sales team Holding weekly sales meetings with the team Profile Key skills and experience required: Experienced within B2B sales and account management Ideally with a strong knowledge of the hospitality and corporate events industry Experience in a people management role would be highly beneficial Experience of working both on the telephone & meeting with high net worth clients face to face is essential Proven track record of success in a targeted environment Able to work to a high standard under pressure A passionate, enthusiastic and driven approach Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills are crucial in this role Capable of adapting and communicating at different levels, both internally and externally with key stakeholders Full, clean UK driving license Job Offer Competitive basic salary Commission Company car or car allowance Pension 24 days holiday Phone & laptop
