Site Based Service Engineer
CNC Site Service Engineer is now required for a successful worldwide market leader in the development of advanced, special purpose CNC machine tools. Due to continued growth and expansion of the already successful and established team, the company now requires an experienced Engineer with solid working knowledge of machine tools. Permanently based on a large Aerospace manufacturing site, the successful Maintenance Engineer will be: · Frontline maintenance and breakdown support to a highly valued customer · Assisting in the implementation and continued certification of ISO9000 · Polite and have a professional demeanour at all times as you will be the face of the company on the customer site Starting on day shifts and potentially moving to a shift rotation after the completion of an initial training period, you will work very closely with the customer's Maintenance and Engineering Teams. To be considered for this position you must have: · Experience of CNC machine tools · Fault Finding Knowledge of CNC Controls - i.e Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain · Knowledge of service, maintenance and breakdown cover of complex machine tools · OND/HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering This is a site based role working on a rotating shift patern including morning, afternoon and night shifts. In return you can expect a starting salary of £31k whilst completing training and working on a day shift. After the completion of training you will move onto the shift rotation and will be eligible for shift premiums plus a 10% annual bonus bringing your salary upto £39k. The position is based in Derbyshire and is commutable within an hour from Derby, Nottingham, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Leicester, Loughborough and Matlock.
