Energy Procurement and Account Manager Managing the tendering, contracting and buying processes associated with the procurement of individual and grouped energy supplies. We manage utilities (electricity, gas and water) for a range of private and public clients. Based near Burton on Trent we are seeking a new member of our management team. You will be managing procurement process for new and existing energy contracts. This will include maintaining an understanding of market conditions and advising on when supplies should be tendered and under what conditions. You will operate our bespoke tender management software system. Managing new utility supply connection points and supply removal. You will be managing the installation of new metering points and when required their removal for various clients across the UK. You will be required to liaise with energy meter operators and distribution network operators. Other work You will be required to become competent at various aspects of our business services, including management of energy resale for some key clients, understanding private energy networks, managing and reporting the utility change of tenancy process for private clients and offering general utility advice to our customers. Some key aspects of role: · Some experience in the energy market. · Familiar with energy contracts and supply arrangements. · The candidate must have a high level of competence on excel spreadsheets. · Be familiar with data management on a computer network. · Excellent numeracy skills. · Good planning and time management skills. · Good communication skills (fluent English both oral and written and able to construct competent emails and a good telephone manner) · Ability to work with database programs (we use bespoke systems that you would be trained on) You will be working to time deadlines each month throughout the month and will be organized in your approach to your work. Prepared to travel as required by the role (you should hold a valid UK driving license). The role shall have a notice period (for employee) of not less than 3 months.
