The Performance Optimisation Specialist (POS) will be responsible for the finding and claiming of hidden and unclaimed performance across the Employability contracts to optimize performance and profitability to achieve ‘Best in Class’ levels. Salary Banding: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum Responsibilities: The post holder will implement the performance optimisation strategy. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Track and investigate hidden or difficult outcomes through internal systems, social media, employer relations and direct customer contact Development and execution of a strategic plan on maximising dual performance focusing on best practice Act as a liaison between the validations team, In-Work Support, sales team and branch managers with a supportive approach to drive performance and risk areas Delegate activity to sales team, with support of RSM, in completing validation requests Complete accurately and timely all administration and reports required, present to POM when required Reporting on risks against compliance and lost revenue generation, including lessons learnt and recommendations Contributing to regional conversion and sustainment targets Responsible for understanding the Employability provisions Responsible for understanding the benefits system, including mandation procedure Identification and referral of key employers to sales team where additional opportunities are available Responsible for the generation of suitable vacancies during communications with existing employers Person: The successful candidate must have strong experience in performance optimization and understand the claims and validations process. They must also have the ability to use analytical and investigative techniques to engage with employers and customers to secure information. It is also vital that the candidate has experience in building strong internal relationships with multiple departments to uncover opportunities and offer support where needed. The candidate must have a positive attitude to disability, health problems and employment problems. The candidate will also be able to build rapport and trust, communicate effectively and sensitivity and be genuinely committed to helping vulnerable people maintain sustainable employment. The candidate must also be flexible and willing to travel inside the designated work area. Occasional travel outside this area for meetings or training and possible overnight stays may be required.
