Business Development Manager

The role of Business Development Manager is a full time, permanent role, pivotal to the ambitious growth plans at the business. The roles will be working with businesses in the East Midlands, initially in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire areas, therefore full driving licence and access to a car is essential, as well as being geographically located in those areas. The Role You will be engaging and working in partnership with employers, advising on the Apprenticeship Levy and the transition from frameworks to standards, as well as conducting organisational needs analysis with employers to devise effective training and recruitment plans. You will be proactively promoting recruitment, training and development programmes through identifying, engaging and securing new business via outbound sales calls, networking, presentations and face to face meetings. The Individual You will need to be self managing and highly motivated with an ability to secure new employer clients through a variety of new business development approaches, including; cold calls, meetings, presentations and events. Experience of working in a similar role is desirable as identifying effective workforce training solutions that address an employer's current and future business needs will be crucial to your success. Knowledge of the apprenticeship reforms would also be advantageous. The Company They have three thriving centres in Beeston, Nottingham and Derby.
