Youth Employability Support (YES) Project Support Co-ordinator

• £22,600 per annum, Leicester LE1
• 35 hours per week (full time)
• Fixed term until 31 August 2019

The YES Project is an innovative project, which supports young people to find work or get into training and education. It’s a three year, £1.94m project, that targets its support at young people who face multiple and complex problems to getting into employment.

Nine organisations provide a varied, intensive and tailored support package to every young person that enters the project to maximise their opportunities and help them to exceed.

Based in the programme management team, reporting to the YES Project
Manager, the Support Coordinator will provide one-to-one support to a range of young people facing complex and multiple barriers to help them to develop and secure employment. The Support Coordinator will work closely with YES partners to develop and broker exciting support packages for participants.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a proven track record in helping young people to succeed and develop. Experience of mentoring and supporting young people to access employment, further training and further education.

Most importantly, the successful candidate will be energetic, driven and
motivated to make a positive impact on young people’s lives.
The project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.
