Aeronautical Lecturer. Engineering. Part Time (29.6 hours). Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position within the Engineering and Technology department for a lecturer in Aeronautical Engineering. As a popular and fast growing area, you will work as part of an excellent team to help further develop the Aeronautical Engineering provision.

As a specialist Aeronautical Engineer, qualified to degree level or equivalent, you will have the experience and knowledge to help guide and shape the curriculum as we move forward into our planned new Aeronautical Engineering building. Teaching a range of specialist subjects on the level 3 Aeronautical Engineering programme, you will work with enthusiastic learners to help complete the build of a light aircraft in our Aeronautical workshop.

As a lecturer within the Engineering department, the successful candidate will be expected to teach as required, on other programmes in the fields of Mechanical and Manufacturing and Electrical/ Electronic Engineering and should be able to demonstrate the ability to teach up to level 5 in Mechanical Science. Ability to teach one of the following subjects, CAD, Pneumatics & Hydraulics or CNC would also be an advantage.
