Due to recent expansion in which they moved to a larger premises, our client currently requires an IT Support Engineer to join their friendly team. The company works with businesses to look after their technology, which involves assessing their needs, delivering product, services, support, monitoring of their IT system.

This is a diverse and varied role and you will have the opportunity to pick up new skills, build on the ones you already have and work with new technologies.

The company really know how to look after their staff and have an incredibly low staff turnover. The successful candidate will be working from their new modern offices and excellent benefits are on offer including the option of a company car.

IT Support Engineer Role
As an experienced IT Support Engineer, your role will be focused on troubleshooting and maintaining the servers and network. No two days will be the same and you will develop skills in networking, security, VOIP/Video, Unified Communications and 3d Workstation.
Who are we looking for?
The successful IT Support Engineer will ideally have the following skills, although there is some room for flexibility on this for the right candidate:

• Windows server and client operating systems
• Microsoft Office applications
• TCP/IP networking
• Active Directory

• Hypervisor administration (Hyper-V 2012 R2 preferred)
• Monitoring solutions
• Antivirus and security products admin
• Exchange 2010 or 2013
• Web design / Hosting
• IT related degree or other relevant further education
Suitable skills/experience: IT Administrator, Database Administrator, IT, IT Support, 1st Line Support, TCP/IP networking, Windows Server
