You'll manage social media engagement plan, campaigns and daily activities, including: + Devise and implement social media strategies and campaigns in line with marketing goals and objectives + Establish, expand and manage our presence on social media platforms, including blogs, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, tumblr, polyvore and others, to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our websites + Write relevant and compelling content specific to target audiences, gathering content from others as needed + Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in conversations and answering questions where appropriate to build relationships and brand loyalty + Create and manage promotions and Facebook ad campaigns + Develop and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs; analyse, review, and report the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results; compile reports for management showing results + Oversee design (e.g. Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile and blogs) + Keep social media guidelines up to date with industry standards and government legislation + Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, analytics, channels, design and strategy and make recommendations on implementation + Manage process for responding to social media crises and/or negative response to viral content Desired Skills & Experience: + Solid marketing/communications/social media and digital integrated marketing experience + Experience developing, managing and executing social media plans and campaigns + Ability to understand business and marketing goals and objectives and how to translate those into social media objectives and strategies + In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz, etc.) and how each platform can be strategically deployed + Working knowledge of WordPress and blog networks + Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format + Solid understanding of social media metrics, social listening and scheduling tools, digital analytics and principles of SEO; ability to generate, analyse and interpret data + A team player and can take the lead and guide other employees when necessary + A positive and collaborative personality; strong attention to detail; excels at building and maintaining relationships The Perks: + Staff discount + Access to sample sales TO BE CONSIDERED???
