As part of Global Risk, Regulatory Compliance ensures adherence to applicable regulations and standards by setting the policies which cover HSBC's regulatory requirements, and mitigate conduct and reputational risk issues. The team strives to remain ahead of the regulatory change agenda and ensures the business understands the implications and is prepared for change. It monitors how the Global Businesses and Functions manage their responsibilities with regard to complying with the regulations and helps resolve compliance deficiencies. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Regulatory Compliance team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. In this role, you will: The ongoing maintenance and improvement to data sets and analysis methods used. Tracking the alignment of the RC function against the approved business Blueprint. Supporting the continuous improvement of all processes. Reviewing and updating relevant organisational charts with approved changes. Input into working groups, weekly regional update meetings and committees. Supporting the WMS and HAT systems in the absence of the Systems Support Analyst Communicating regularly with global and regional stakeholders. The ability to deputise for the managers when they are not available for meetings is important. As with similar roles, this will encompass a range of work from the strategically important to the day-to-day administration, and the successful candidate will be able to work effectively across the broad range of activities To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements: Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a global, highly matrixed and complex organisation Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills Excellent reporting and tracking skills SharePoint knowledge Financial Services/ HR and/ or Organisational Design and Development background Financial experience preferably in a service company type model Workforce planning experience highly desirable Project Methodology knowledge/ certification preferable Relationship management Analysis and Reporting Capability You'll achieve more when you join HSBC.
