JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE: Head, Group Management Reporting GRADE: B4 REPORTS TO: Global Head - Financial Planning and Analytics DEPARTMENT: Group Finance LOCATION: London TERMS: Local SALARY: Competitive Opening date 3.6.17 - Closing date 1.7.17 A Business critical within the Group FP&A team, to lead the Bank's management reporting processes, including, but not limited to supporting the controllership over management accounts and policies. Additionally, the jobholder will be responsible for driving the design, production and presentation of external segmental disclosures as well as developing management information packs for the Board and Group Executive. The jobholder will also be the Business Partner lead for Group Treasury. As an integral part of the Group FP&A team, the candidate is expected to engage with and contribute to the development of the team's portfolio of reports for senior management. The jobholder will require a strong balance of reporting experience and analytical skills, and the desire for high level exposure across a wide range of disciplines in a dynamic environment. The role is based in London. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the Group's Management Reporting process * Lead the Group's flash and month end management reporting close * Monthly closure of Management books for the group * Responsible for Consolidation and Finalisation of Group Management Reporting covering over 50+ geographies. * Management Accounting Policies and Procedures * Deliver management accounting guidance and process enhancements across the Finance network * Manage, enhance and develop critical management information for external disclosures and senior management * Generation of Management information for decision support processes * Off shoring Governance and Control, working closely with support team in Chennai and Group FP&A colleagues in Singapore * Business Partner for Group Treasury and Other Banking * Drive special projects to review and benchmark best-in-class reporting approach * Act as a custodian of Group Management reporting system * Risk and Audit compliance for Reporting processes. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Degree (Numerical) or MBA or accounting qualification with minimum of ten years of post-qualification experience in management or financial reporting within financial services/banking International work experience in Emerging markets and handling Global roles for large enterprises will be preferred Working knowledge on Business Intelligence tools viz., MicroStratgey, Tableau and Hyperion Cubes and techno functional experience is critical to the role. Familiar in defining Reference data for Management reporting framework and deeper understanding of enterprise data and its linkages to Management reporting Experience in change management is a prerequisite for driving broader MI from Group reporting perspective Disciplined, deliberative and demonstrable reporting expertise/judgement An ability to link the performance implications arising out of reported performance Problem-solver and proven catalyst for new ideas and initiatives Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal skills for effective inter-disciplinary partnership across a diverse network High standard of written English, with the ability to review, summarise and communicate material accurately and succinctly.
