SchoolPod are looking to recruit an accomplished and forward thinking Sales Director to join us on this journey in this newly created role. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Director will be responsible for developing and delivering the Company’s sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, maximising sales volume and revenue. You will be responsible for the growth and development of 6 key products, all at different stages within its product life cycle, managing a team of 45 colleagues. Key responsibilities will include: Creating a clear view of route to market across all products. Defining and delivering a tactical sales plan to increase customer numbers and revenue across all 6 products. Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to deliver growth targets. Being a transformational leader, responsible for directing and developing managerial and sales capability within the sales function. Implementing key metrics to measure performance. Continuously reviewing internal processes and procedures ensuring the sales process is efficient and effective. Developing new and existing client relationships. About the person: The successful Sales Director will bring energy, drive, passion and enthusiasm in this newly created role. A background of selling software to the education sector. A proven track record of increasing sales through identifying new opportunities of business growth. A motivating leader and coach with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. A strong background of managing both internal and external sales teams. Highly analytical, with experience of using data to provide critical insight. Excellent B2B skills, relationship building and negotiation skills. To be self-driven, result-orientated and have a clear focus. Minimum of 5 years experience. Degree educated.
