RGN/Clinical Lead - Community based - Leicester area - £30-35k neg Our quality driven Health & Social Care client is now seeking to expand their well-established services and are now looking to recruit a full time permanent RGN/Clinical Lead, band 6-8 and with 5 years of working in an acute setting. Our client is looking for an RGN who has experience with Head Injury and LD patients/service users. You will need to have excellent knowledge of the CQC regs and have strong leadership skills as this role includes leading a team of community staff including nursing staff, mentoring and monitoring staff ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to service users within the community. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded care provider who are continuing to expand their services further ensuring that they bring high quality services to the local community of the Leicester area including some rural districts. This new position will require experience of taking on new referrals, carrying out assessments and liaising with care managers and NHS colleagues, conducting clinical supervisions and competency assessments and identifying staff training needs. You will also create and update clinical care plans and MAR charts. As the lead in the clinical side of the service you will also help to prepare for CQC inspections, and lead with all clinical training sessions to include PEG, medication, Epilepsy/Buccal etc. You will need to have experience of budgets and the completion of relevant audits. You will need to have a valid pin and be an excellent communicator both verbally and written, be a car owner/driver, have local knowledge and experience of working closely with external agencies, care managers, Social services, colleagues and families. This role is to act as the Clinical Lead in a position that is a very varied rewarding senior position where you will be working very closely with the Company Director, management and branch staff ensuring excellent communication with feedback from service users and staff. As a manager within this role you will also carry out staff supervisions, staff appraisals, hold team meetings and work to develop staff potential further by giving good support to staff ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
