This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to commission a brand new, purpose built, state-of-the-art Residential and Dementia Care Home near Leicester. Initially you will be involved in recruiting new staff and implementing policy and procedure to ensure the Home is successful from the outset. You will be responsible for all areas of home management including auditing, risk assessments, safeguarding, staff supervision and guidance, training, medication management, care planning, occupancy levels and, underlying all of this, always ensuring high quality care is being provided. The successful candidate will understand the importance of establishing a highly visible presence in the local community and building good relationships with local healthcare professionals. You must have an excellent understanding of the CQC standards and have the skills to ensure that these are met and maintained. As the Home Manager you will be pivotal to the well-being and advancement of the home and its team and so you must have strong leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar setting, with specific understanding of dementia care and the latest dementia care practices. You must have an excellent understanding of CQC standards, as well as your Level 5 or equivalent and other relevant qualifications to support your application. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager to join an established organisation and to develop your current skillset and knowledge.
