We are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Trainer in Nuneaton, Warwickshire to join a specialist provider of homecare services for adults and children with complex care needs, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy.


Our client specialises in delivering the very highest standard of care and support to individuals living in their own homes, enabling them to remain independent, whilst receiving the extra care and support they need.


As a Health & Social Care Trainer, your responsibilities will involve:

-              Delivering induction, mandatory training and the care certificate

-              Carrying out training needs assessment interviews with care staff

-              Identify during induction training staff members who may need additional support

-              Assisting care staff with practical training within client's homes, where needed

-              Produce training plans and liaise with the team to organise staff attendance at training courses


As a Health & Social Care Trainer you will be aware of changing legislation relating to the delivery of training and always ensure you meet the current required standards. You will also:


-              Hold a teaching qualification PTTLS, City & Guilds 7302 or equivalent

-              Previous experience within the social care sector

-              The ability to make your training sessions exciting and interesting for your staff team

-              Hold a UK driving license and have access to a vehicle
