Our client has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven Quality Technician/Inspector, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding team based in Coventry. They are offering a excellent salary package of £9.00 - £10.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience + 0.75p shift allowances.

Established for over 35 years and now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, our client is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Quality Technician to join their team based in Coventry.

This is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic and technically minded individual to thrive, working in a fast paced environment within a successful and vibrant team. You will be able to utilise you independence and drive to succeed whilst being involved in various project work.

As a Quality Technician/Inspector you will be responsible for performing inspections of finished company product and initiating corrective actions. You will be a key member of the Quality department

Responsibilities as their Quality Technician/Inspector:

- Liaising with production and inspection staff on quality issues

- Implementing and Maintaining agreed quality procedures

- Working within an ISO 9001 Management System

- Reading Engineering drawings GD&T

- To maintain component traceability systems

- To carry out regular in-process and final inspection

- To perform CMM Inspection and produce reports

- To enter appropriate records into QA and production databases

- Support and Developing Production part approval process (PPAP)

- To support production in meeting delivery targets

- Fully comply with company policies including Health and Safety at all times

- Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required

Skills and Experience Required to become their Quality Technician/Inspector:

- Self-motivated and focused

- Good verbal & written communication

- Mobile and flexible; able to respond to various issues with autonomy

- Excellent communication skills

- High attention to detail

- The ability to work in a high pressure environment

- Ability to use own initiative

- Flexible on shift pattern 

Quality Technician/Inspector Working Hours: Full Time - Mon-Friday, 37.5 hrs per week, rotating shift , 6.00am-14.00pm or 14.00pm - 22.00pm
