Home Care Assistant
Kensington Community Care has an exciting opportunity for a Home Care Assistant to join their team based in Birmingham. You will be on a full time, permanent basis and be paid a competitive rate of £7.50 - £8.40 per hour.
Kensington Community Care are a leading domiciliary care organisation providing care and support services for vulnerable adults across the city of Birmingham. Due to a large workload, we are looking to recruit a new Home Care Assistant / Home Support Worker to care for people who live in their own home.

Skills needed to become our Home Care Assistant
Unlike most domiciliary care organisations, we offer a very personalized approach to recruiting new staff. When considering new applicants, we ensure that we only offer employment to individuals who are located in areas where we already have clients. We also take into consideration the times you are available to work, and if you can only work at certain times, we will be honest and upfront as to whether or not we can offer you employment.

Our pay rates start from £7.50 per hour up to £8.40 per hour and a mileage payment of 10-20p per mile.
If you do not have previous experience in care, then you are still able to apply for this position as we provide an extensive training program for all successful applicants. In addition to this, you will go through a period of shadowing with an experienced carer who will ensure that you can safely deliver the care required. We also provide vocational training allowing you to gain qualifications in care whilst you work.
