36.5 hours per week

The company is comprised of the twelve local authorities and three Local Enterprise Partnerships working together to move powers from Whitehall to the West Midlands and our locally elected politicians, who know this region best. Individual councils will still deliver services and retain their identity but on the big decisions we will have the resources to work together.

We have an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Specialist to become part of the company's friendly ICT team and be the technical owner for the SharePoint service. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years' experience in SharePoint 13 installation, configuration and administration. You will help deliver an excellent ICT service management role working with all areas of ICT, including service desk, infrastructure and development environments. You will be responsible for the operational delivery of the ICT strategy ensuring that policy, security and legal standards are adhered to.

You will assist in the alignment of ICT systems and services using best practice guidelines and will help assist in the identification and delivery of a continual service improvement model that will ensure ICT continues to deliver an excellent service.

You should be qualified to degree level in an ICT related discipline and or possess an ICT technical qualification e.g. MCSD, MCSE, MCDA or similar recognized professional qualification that demonstrates knowledge of essential skills. The ITIL Foundation Certificate is desirable.
