Job Title: Parts Sales Representative

Location: Leicester, LE2 6BW

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 Per Annum (DOE) + Company Car

Our client is currently looking for a Parts Sales Representative to join their Flagship FordStore in Leicester. The role will involve regular travel to our customer bases in Leicestershire.

A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated and strategic individual, with the ability to drive and achieve concepts and sales campaigns/promotions. You will take active ownership and responsibility for all aspects of sustainable sales, margin, customer growth and product penetration within your territory. This relates to existing, new and prospective customers as well as the implementation of franchised dealer trade programmes and parts clubs.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To drive sales growth in the Local and UK market in both OEM Parts and Aftermarket parts
  • To ensure on-target profitable sales growth from your territory, utilising a full spectrum of sales and margin management techniques
  • To contribute and work with the Group Parts Management Team to the success and development of all parts sales through all of the sales channels within the business
  • Develop and adhere to a comprehensive call plan within the agreed key target accounts
  • Continually generate and increase profitable sales growth and to demonstrate effective margin management control utilising our company sales analysis data
  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings, KPI performance review meetings and branch meetings
  • Provide and end of month overview report of your activities to the Group Parts Sales Manager

Required Skills & Experience

  • Motor trade experience and Parts knowledge either in the main dealer or aftermarket sectors
  • A proven successful track record in customer sales and profit target achievement through your own sales merits
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to work within tight and demanding deadlines, and have good presentational skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and rapport building abilities in front of both existing and new customers
  • Ability to work in a structured, disciplined, strategic and self-motivated style
  • The ability to continually generate profitable sales growth in a B2B environment
  • Excellent abilities in key-business figures (e.g. sales margins and profitability)
