We are a successful and growing damage management firm that work with loss adjusters and consultants around the UK, and pride ourselves on high quality delivery and customer service.  We are currently seeking an experienced and keen Building Surveyor within the Midlands area to join our small and friendly team.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience within the insurance industry (residential and commercial), and will be responsible for managing projects including tender preparation and project delivery.  You will support the Contracts Director to ensure that a first-class service is provided to our customers and clients, as well as managing your time effectively to ensure contracts are completed on time.  Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must in this role, as is the ability to exercise budgetary/financial control. Analytical thinking and problem solving skills will be essential, with the ability to adopt effective decision making.

As an experienced Surveyor, you will understand processes within the industry to enhance efficiency, gain competitive advantage and be receptive to new business opportunities, as well as adding value through procedures. Strong teamwork skills are also required to work effectively and flexibly, whilst providing motivation and improving skill set.

We are looking for a candidate that is driven by success, displays an adaptable persona and is confident with managing change and resources. Strong commercial awareness and up-to-date industry knowledge such as CDM, Asbestos, Health & Safety and Building Regulations will be a prerequisite. You will possess awareness of building defects, building construction and structural defect management in addition to general insurance principles and practice.

In return we offer a competitive salary (dependent on experience) and pension scheme, and the ability to progress with a growing company.

To apply for this role, please forward your CV in confidence.
